Other times, I just veg out.
Also--I hardly ever go on vacation and just relax. I'm usually working on something. so I bring my alphasmart or my laptop and work for a couple hours a day.Rebecca Yorkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00868406006575223127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12904056.post-1117207875779574582005-05-27T11:31:00.000-04:002005-05-27T11:31:00.000-04:00Traveling inspires me like nothing else. (Yes, fear the road while I'm on it) I'm like Jaci and shut down during vacation.

I'm so jealous of your trip. Great minds think alike :-) While I don't write during vacations (for one thing, I don't have a lap top), I do find that getting away from the hectic rush of my day-to-day life does give me time to "listen" to the story ideas in my head. I think ju0st taking some calm, relaxing, quiet time allows our muse to be heard. Great comments, Leigh and Jaci. I think of nothing writing related, probably because I'm typically on writing overload. I think my muse needs the break from me as much as I need the break from her.

Enjoy Italy!

JaciJaci Burtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13639220483382577009noreply@blogger.com
